2021 Grants

The First Grade Teachers were awarded a grant for Lenovo IdeaPads. The IdeaPad will be able to be utilized in all subjects taught  as an added resource for learning.

 

Mrs. Harris's grant will be utilized on MicroBit Kits. These kits will assist in problem solving lessons utilizing robotics.

 

Mrs. Sullivan's grant will expand the Infant Simulators to 5 infants to be able to accommodate her growing class size.

 

Mrs. Cherry's grant is awarded for the purchase of Atomic Models with magnets to be utilized in her Chemistry classes.

2020 Campus Grants

Flatonia ISD Education Foundation presents $19,367 in grants to Flatonia ISD

Flatonia ISD Education Foundation announced on Friday, March 6th that it is able to award $19,367 in grant money to Flatonia ISD for the needs of the school. Teachers submitted grant requests for items, and the FISD Education Foundation is funding the purchase of two Escape Room Kits for the junior high social studies classes, student engagement centers for Pre-K, Chromebooks with cases for interactive learning in the fourth grade, an interactive touchscreen for the elementary library, a digital flipchart, licensing for Tynker Coding for Kids in the fifth grade math class and a Life Skills Portable Kitchen for the students at Whispering Hills. This includes bakeware, flatware, an instant pot, stools, table, measuring cups, hand mixers, bowls, cutting boards, dish cloths, oven gloves, cookware, tumblers, utensils and a storage cabinet. This year with the help of the Flatonia Band the members of the Education Foundation presented the grants at the beginning of the day. 2018 Campus Grants

Flatonia ISD Education Foundation presents $15,899 in grants to Flatonia ISD

Flatonia ISD Education Foundation announced on Monday, Feb. 19 that it is able to award $15,899 in grant money to Flatonia ISD for the needs of the school. Teachers submitted grant requests for items, and the FISD Education Foundation is funding the purchase of innovative classroom seating for the junior high, Makerspace for younger grades, and two 3-D printers. 2015-2016 Campus Grants

The Foundation is thrilled to announce that the first grants have been awarded to Flatonia ISD's Elementary & Secondary campuses! Flatonia ISD Education Foundation granted $6250 to each campus for the purchase of their desired item. These items included DRA 2 kits for the elementary campus & chrome books for the secondary. Thank you to all teachers and staff for your dedication to our students!
